New Surgery July 10, 2008
Dad is getting ready for his surgery July 10th. We'll be leaving Santa Clara July 7th because of pre-op tests scheduled for July 8th and 9th. The expected stay in the hospital is 14 days again.
Dad is struggling. He gets really tired and rests a lot. I am not expecting it go get better, only worse (as it has during the past few weeks). Luckily, he does listen for the most part and lies down. He appreciates all the phone calls he's received lately and the emails. Thanks for keeping in touch.
We got the go ahead from the insurance company last week. At least it got here. He goes in for his dental check up today. Hopefully there will be no infection.
There is not much more at this point. Keep an eye on this and I'll keep you all updated.
